Our managing partner is a qualified B&H lawyer with over fifteen years of post-qualification experience. He concentrates primarily on corporate and M&A, energy projects, competition and real estate.

As independent attorney at law Sead established Law Office Miljković in 2005 and started cooperation with an international law firm. Before starting his own practice, Sead worked as the head of the legal department at the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of B&H, a regulatory body with the mandate to establish and maintain an independent judiciary. Previously, Sead was an associate in the law office Tkalčić-Đulić & Prebanić in Sarajevo. Sead regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on energy, competition and corporate law and is a contributor to various legal and business publications.

Sead is very experienced in coordinating teams of lawyers in large due diligence projects, and in the negotiation and drafting of acquisition documentation in the context of multi–jurisdictional transactions. Our partner is an attorney at law with over ten years of post-qualification experience. His work mainly focuses on energy projects, regulatory, IP&IT, employment, environmental and public procurement matters.

On numerous occasions, Amar has demonstrated his capabilities in handling complex legal matters in an extremely difficult local legal environment. Amar has developed notable niche expertise in assisting clients in a variety of commercial and regulatory matters. Before joining Law Office Miljković& Partners, Amar was a Senior Associate in an international law firm. Amar has in-depth knowledge of the local environment and has significant experience in institutional strengthening and capacity building in both public and private sector.

Amar has advised in various real estate matters, including performing a limited due diligence regarding real estates, revealing existing mortgages on the respective real estates, ensuring valid registration with the land registers, and obtaining the respective land register decisions. He has been actively involved in all energy projects, with special emphasis on regulatory matters. In the past period, Amar has developed extensive experience and know-how in all employment matters. Also, the Legal 500 (EMEA) recognized Amar as a leading B&H individual in the category of IP/IT.

Our senior associate is a well-experienced lawyer with over eight years of post-qualification experience. Her main practice areas are corporate and employment law, but she also gained significant legal practice in the regulatory area.

Before joining our team Maja was Associate with an international law firm. Maja's representative transactions include advising major international clients on various complex legal aspects of numerous M&A, corporate, labor and regulatory matters; assisting international investors with regard to due diligence investigations, drafting and negotiation of all transaction documents, as well as monitoring of implementation of all condition precedents, successful closing of the transaction and all post-closing activities; providing clients with legal housekeeping services in relation to their entire business operation in B&H, including corporate, operational, regulatory and business aspects concerning their position in the local market.

Maja has significant experience in all employment related matters including drafting of all employment-related documentation, advising clients in complex labor matters such as redundancies, employment considerations in M&A transactions, asset deals etc.

A legal trainee at Law Office Miljković & Partners since March 2017, Kenan graduated from University of Sarajevo in 2016, and he is currently on postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo: Civil Law in the EU.

During his graduate studies Kenan has been general secretary of European Law Student Association (ELSA) Sarajevo and B&H, and he participated in numerous international and local student projects and conferences. During his studies, Kenan gained professional experience in various aspects of civil law through his internship in the Municipal Court in Sarajevo and other local law firms..

Kenan is currently primarly involved in fields of dispute resolution and corporate law, but he also has extensive experience in dealing with administrative authorities and providing clients with various legal advice in field of regulatory and employment law.
